    Steps to make Chana Masala Chickpea Masala:

    1. Soak Chana/Chickpea for 7 to 8 hours.
    2. Pressure cook chickpea by adding 1 tsp salt for 4 whistles.
    3. Grind onion and tomato in a mixer into a fine paste.
    4. Heat kadai add the ingredients to temper. Then add the grinded paste.
    5. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida, garam masala powder and salt if needed.
    6. Now add the pressure cooked chickpea to the kadai.
    7. Allow to cook until raw smell goes off. Now the delicious Chana/Chickpea Masala is ready to serve.
    8. For thicker consistency grind pressure cooked chickpea along with onion tomato.
    9. Finally spread chopped coriander leaves to add more flavour.serve hot.
