    16. Take 2 tbsp Oil for frying

    1. Peel and chop bottle gourd in big pieces.
    2. Deep fry in medium hot oil till golden brown.
    3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadai add cumin seeds, when it crackle add onion paste and cook 1 minute. Add ginger garlic paste and saute.
    4. Add haldi powder, hing, red chilli powder, cumin powder, dry ginger powder, fennel seeds powder,coriander powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, salt,curd and malai, mix well and cook 1 minute, keep stirring.
    5. Now add 1/2 cup of water and fried bottle gourd.
    6. Now cover and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
    7. Serve hot with roti.
