    Instructions to make Kashmiri Dum Aloo:

    1. Prick the baby potatoes with help of a fork.
    2. Deep fry the baby potatoes in mustard oil till it's 80% cooked.
    3. Boil the whole red chillies for 15 minutes and make a fine paste out of it.
    4. In a bowl, mix whole red chilli paste, curd, dry ginger powder, coriander powder, fennel seeds powder and set aside.
    5. Heat mustard oil in a pan.
    6. Add black cardamom, cloves, caraway seeds, bay leaf and asafoetida till fragrant
    7. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder.
    8. Add some water and fry it for some time till u get a nice red colour.
    9. Add the curd mixture and stir continuously on low flame for sometime.
    10. Add tomato purey, chopped ginger and green chilli.
    11. Add the fried baby potatoes and salt to taste and mix well.
    12. Add some water and let the gravy cook on low flame for 15 minutes.
