    Instructions

    Instructions to make Kashmiri Shufta:

    1. Be ready with all the ingredients.
    2. Soak the dry fruits i.e almonds, cashews, anjeer, raisins, walnuts in water for 15 minutes.
    3. Heat ghee in a pan. Fry the chopped paneer cubes until it turns golden from all the sides. Keep it aside.
    4. In the same pan fry the dry coconut slices till little brown. Once fried keep aside.
    5. Now in the same pan add the soaked dry fruits and melon seeds. Fry it in the ghee for a minute and add sugar, cardamom powder and dry ginger powder. Stir for a while.
    6. Add little water and stir continuously till the sugar gets dissolved completely. Add the fried paneer and dry coconut slices also. Saute for 2 minutes. Switch off the gas.
    7. Serve it hot or cold garnish with dry rose petals and chopped kiwi.
