    1. Take 1 bowl soaked/blanched badam (almonds)
    2. Make ready 1 bowl powdered sugar
    3. Prepare a few saffron strands soaked in warm milk (optional)

    5. Prepare 1 tbsp ghee

    Steps to make Badam Katli:

    1. Soak badam in water overnight. Then soak them in hot water for 1 hour. They would become soft and fluffy. Remove their skin.
    2. Put soaked badam and saffron in a mixer jar. Grind them to fine paste. Add milk to get very smooth paste. If required you can use little water too.
    3. Heat a pan. Add ghee, badam paste, powdered sugar. Stir constantly on low flame.
    4. After few minutes this mixture will become thick. Turn off the flame.
    5. Put this mixture on greased surface. Let it cool down for a minute. Then spread & cut into desired shapes.
    6. Let them cool down and become completely dry. Serve & enjoy!
